Grass Lake

grass lakeGrass Lake is one of the smaller lakes in the 5 lake chain.

Located in the village of Haliburton, RPM serves Haliburton County’s largest lake chain including Kashagawigamog, Soyers, Canning, Grass and Head lakes. A full service marina and powersports location, the Haliburton Village RPM location is just across the road from the Pump Shop, the Independent food store and The Beer Store.

PUBLIC ACCESS:

There is a public boat launch at 127 Highland Street (Head Lake Government Dock) to provide access to Grass Lake.   Alternatively, you can visit on e of the Marinas on the lake for their pay per use ramps.

Surface Area:  64 ha
Shoreline Length: 4.51 ha
Maximum Depth: 3.4 m
Mean Depth: 2.19 m

FISHING:

Fishing on the lake you will find Brown Bullhead, Burbot, Muskie, Walleye, and Bass (small and large mouth), White Sucker and Yellow Perch.

SNOWMOBILING:

There is great access in this area for snowmobilers.  The OFSC main B trails are in close proximity for you to travel in any direction.  The Haliburton County Snowmobile Association has some very scenic trails that are well worth the visit.
